Living a Listening Life: Essentials of Healing Prayer

$24.99

In the Roots&Branches model of listening and healing prayer, Rooted Prayer, we create safe space for transformational encounters with Jesus through listening prayer and spiritual practices. In praying with hundreds of spiritual seekers, we’ve witnessed again and again the key roles that listening prayer and safe space play in our healing journeys. In this foundational course, we explore the practice of listening prayer and the dynamics of creating noise-free, shame-free, formula-free, Christ-centric space in our own lives and in community.

Objectives

  • Understand the ways God speaks.

  • Discover spiritual practices for listening to God.

  • Experience different ways of listening to God.

  • Understand the necessity of internal and external safe space for healing.

  • Understand the values and practices that create safe space for healing

Course Structure

  • This two-session course is offered in two formats: Live and On-Demand.

  • Live classes include two, 90-minute Zoom events, scheduled for March 30th and April 6th, 10:00 am to 11:30 am EST. Recordings of zoom courses will then be posted for access on demand.

  • Each lesson includes a downloadable PDF with outlines for note-taking and questions for reflection and discussion.

  • The course host and current students will have the ability to interact for Q&A and discussion via an Activity Feed specific to this course.

  • Students self-monitor their own progress by checking weekly completion boxes.

  • Completion certificates will be awarded upon course completion.

  • This and other courses on Relational Peace University are available to be taken with a private group such as a small group or bible study. Contact info@sweetenlife.com to request a private group.
